This group of small farmers are associated with the C.A.C. Sostenible Valle Ubiriki, which helps them market their production under favourable terms. They work together to produce specialty coffees with environmental and social responsibility and to access the international market, in order to improve the standard of living of the associates and their communities.
Our sustainable production systems are ensuring technical assistance from the Ubiriki Valley Cooperative through the Farmer Field Schools practicing sustainable agriculture. Our system of cultivation with shade in several layers made up of trees of native and diversified species favours the biodiversity of flora and of fauna, including a large number bird species.
