Yiragacheffe is always known as a stand out coffee. It has distinct smells and flavours that go beyond any other growing region. This Yiragacheffe in particular starts slow and then develops into a punch of exotic complex flavours. This highly sophisticated coffee has a specialy dedicated roast profile to ignite its primordial flavours.
The coffee comes from Yirgacheffee Aricha and has 200 beds. It has been operating for three years. This is their second year of collaboration with Ephtah.

During the year, there are 6 permanent workers, and during the harvest season, the number increases to 100 people. The harvest runs from November to January.

Coffee is grown by small farmers with false shade bananas. It is organic, but certification is not available due to the high cost of verification. In addition, due to unusually high levels of rainfall, there were difficulties in drying the coffee.

Best filter coffee ever
We prefer Ethiopia for filter coffee. And have been experimenting with Ethiopia roasts from pretty much all roasters in Portugal. And this one stands out as the best! We use it for either v60 or aero press and we love it!
